Samsung 57th Festival of Sport (Baseball Tournament) A Resounding Success
With all the highly-competitive and entertaining baseball games happening across baseball fields all over Hong Kong in the past two months, the Samsung 57th Festival of Sportl Baseball Tournament has finally drawn to a close with worthy winners emerging for different titles.
Close to twenty schools took part in this year’s various baseball tournaments under the Samsung 57th Festival of Sport. Their participation resulted in some tremendous baseball games, as the players displayed their wonderful talents around the baseball diamond while showing a burning passion for the game of baseball.
Allan Mak, Director of the Hong Kong Baseball Association (HKBA), took part in the awards ceremony for the Primary School and voiced his pleasure on this year’s event. “I am very pleased to see so many participants, especially young players, in this year’s baseball tournaments under the Sport Festival,” said the HKBA Director. “Seeing all these ball players taking part in our sport is a very encouraging sight, as they represent the future of Hong Kong baseball.”

Secondary School: Kwun Tong Maryknoll College (Team A)
Primary School: S.K.H. Yan Laap Primary School
Girls – Senior: Kowloon True Light Middle School
Girls – Junior: Jockey Club Ti-I College
