Baseball Fun Day Invitation

Introduction
The Hong Kong Women's Baseball Team is preparing to participate in the VI Women's Baseball World Cup 2014 that to be held on 1-7 September 2014 in Miyazaki, Japan; national teams from eight countries/regions including Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Japan, Netherlands, USA, Venezuela and Hong Kong.

We would like to invite you to join us in the "Baseball Fun Day", to show your support to the Hong Kong Women's Baseball Team on 10 August 2014. We welcome you to have an opportunity to taste the fun of baseball on the only standard baseball field in Hong Kong. Because of field space is limited and the number of participants will be capped to the first 100 who register.

  • Date: Sunday, 10 August 2014
  • Time: 9:30am to 11:30am
  • Place: Sai Tso Wan Baseball Field, No. 90 Sin Fat Road, Lam Tin, Kowloon.
  • Organizer: Hong Kong Baseball Association (HKBA)
  • Co-organizer: Ls Baseball & Softball
  • Participation: Age 5-65, OPEN to ALL
  • Entry Fees: Free of Charge
  • Application:Please complete the Registration Form and return to HKBA by fax or email on or before Thursday, 7 August.
  • Transportation: Lam Tin MTR station, Exit D1, walk along left side up to the hill, the entrance of Sai Tso Wan Recreation Ground is next to the tennis court.
  • What you need: Sportswear, sports shoe, cap, towel, bottle, apply insect repellent and suntan lotion
  • Equipments and Protection Gears: To be provided by the Organizer or Co-organizer

Cancellation
1.When the Hong Kong Observatory announces that Red Rainstorm Signal or Black Rainstorm Signal or Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 will be issued at 8:30am and after, the event will be cancelled.
2. HKBA will inform the registered individuals and group contact person about the cancellation by SMS.  The group contact person is responsible for informing the group members on its list.
