| About Baseball5: | A major development related to the international growth of our urban discipline Baseball5. On 15 July 2020 the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee approved the inclusion of Baseball5 in the Sport Programme of the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026. | About Asia Cup: | Being informed by the WBSC-Asia Baseball5 Commission, due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak and note with deep concerns that it has adversely affected a significant number of countries/territories globally, in particular in Asia. The organizer has decided to postpone the Asia Baseball5 events to the following NEW dates: Date: 17-19 August 2022 (Tentative) Place: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia The top three Asian teams will qualify to participate in the WBSC World Cup. |
| About World Cup: | WBSC Baseball5 World Cup (Open) will be held in Mexico October/November 2022. (the final dates and place to be confirmed). 12 National Teams (Mixed-Gender) will be qualified in WBSC Baseball5 World Cup (Open) |

| Player Eligibility: | 1. Must holding HKSAR passport; 2. Must be a member of HKBA AND HKSA. 3. Must be fully vaccinated (with 3 doses) https://covid19.trackvaccines.org/country/malaysia/ (Vaccine recognized by Malaysia) |
| Team Delegation: | A maximum of ten (10) persons, namely, a maximum of eight (8) athletes (four (4) male and four (4) female) plus two (2) delegate-officials (coach and team manager) |
| Team Official: | Team Manager and Coaching Staff will be jointly appointed by HKBA and HKSA Mr. Au Wing Leung And Mr. Ng Wing Kei |

| Notes: | Please note that each team is required to pay USD300 Team Entry Fee and Individual Participation Fee at the cost of USD60 per person per day for twin-share room with breakfast. Both HKBA and HKSA are seeking possible funding to support the preparation and participation. We will inform the selected players the preparation fee and participation fee once we receive the confirmation from the related department. |
