Recruitment of Sports Therapy Service Provider for Team Hong Kong, China

The Baseball Association of Hong Kong, China (BAHKC) is looking for a Sports Therapy Service Provider to provide professional care to the players of Men’s Team (the Team) to prepare for and participate in the coming overseas tournament.

Servicing period: immediate until 31 March 2025
Servicing location: Lam Tin, Kowloon
Group size: 52 players

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and monitor strength, conditioning and injury prevention programs for the players;
  • Assist in the rehabilitation program;
  • Maintain thorough medical records on all injuries and rehabilitation procedures;
  • Liaise with the coaching staff and respective directors on the scope of work.

Qualification and Requirements:
  • Holding university degree in sports medicine, strength and conditioning or a relevant discipline;
  • A minimum of 1-year working experience preferably in relevant practical fields;
  • Experience in working with baseball teams is preferred;
  • Holding valid travel document

Terms and Conditions for the Appointment:
  • The appointed Sports Therapy Service Provider provides the service as a self-employed person;
  • The appointed Sports Therapy Service Provider is legally responsible for his/her negligence in causing property damage or personal injury to third parties;
  • He/she has to complete and submit a tax return in accordance with the Inland Revenue Ordinance and fulfil the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Schemes Ordinance to enroll himself/herself as a self-employed person.

Offers
  • Pay rates: HK$351/hour
  • Frequency: 2-3 sessions a week; each session 2-3 hours
